The Rotorua Principals Association (RPA) oversees Primary and Intermediate school sports in the Central Bay of Plenty. The RPA Sport Committee (RPASC) is made up of nominated principals from local schools. They organise sports events for students in years 0-8 during school time. The RPASC ensures these events are safe, welcoming, affordable, and enjoyable, offering various activities to suit all students. They employ a full-time sports and events director to manage the annual events calendar. The committee meets every term to plan and support school sport and recreation activities.
